He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hellmann and Hortensia Hellmann (Bialy); his daughter Kim Rutherford; and his sister Anna Yantz. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie McManus; his children, Derek Hellmann, Michael Nelson, Laurien Dannenberg and Mark Nelson; his grandchildren, Angela Brown, Katelyn Swick, Victoria Nelson, Kennedy Dannenberg, Hazen Nelson and Jade Dannenberg; his great grandchildren, Noah Brown, Ehren Brown, Miller Swick and Ford Swick; and his brother Ron Hellmann.
