He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Betz and Elizabeth Betz; his wife Rosalia Chavez; and his son Bruce Betz. He is survived by: his children, Michael Betz (Barbara) and Rosemarie Mercer (Dan); his grandchildren, Jacob (Shelly), Alicia (Mitch), Joshua (Stefani) and Erik (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Ellis, Emmett, Enslee, Brook and Molly.
