He was predeceased by: his parent Carl Swarthout; and his siblings, Gary Swarthout, Ben Swarthout and RaeAnn Carbullido. He is survived by: his parent Ellen Swarthout (Earle); his wife Euella M. Ecker; his children, Chene Swarthout of Sanford, Clay Swarthout of Coleman, Reeve Swarthout (Betty) of Sanford and Shawn Andrews (Tony) of Shepherd; his siblings, Andrew Cross, Kim Swarthout, Marc Swarthout (Cindy), Carla Burt (Robert), Tonia Swarthout, Biane McGee (Joseph), Kaleen Morris (William) and Spring Stocks; and his brother-in-law James Carbullido.
