He is survived by: his wife Kay Eileen Simmons (Lathrop); his children, Katherine Simmons Hale Nunnold (James), Ruth Simmons Brunotte (Bernard), Kevin Simmons (Jean), Leeann Simmons Hodgins (Wayne) and Roberta Simmons Rowe (Jeff); his grandchildren, Erika Hale, Brianna Hale (Scotty Sutton), Lauren Hale, Peter Brunotte (Rachel), Caitlyn (Justin Jabara), Noah Savanna (Haylea), Joshua, Wayne James Hodgins (Lauren), Blain Hodgins and Samantha Rowe; his great grandchildren, Calder, Arielle, Allistair and Margot; his sisters, Nellie Lou Simmons and Carrol Ann Wise; and his nephews, Richard Uhnavy, Kurt Wise and Craig Wise. He is also survived by his family and his friends.
