It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Barr of Sandusky, Michigan, born in Carsonville, Michigan, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barr and Agnes Barr (Karl); his father-in-law Lon Schell (Ada); his siblings, Keith Barr (Barbara) and Doris Chard (Bob); his daughter-in-law Pearl Barr; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Ritz and Lon Schell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barr; his children, Doreen Peters (Marty), Bryan Barr (Selena), Stephen Barr (Stephanie) and Paulette Barr; his grandchildren, Justin Rich (Tiffany), Kyle Rich (Melissa), James Strombach Barr, Nathaniel Barr, Keegan Barr, Ryan Barr and Travis Barr; his great grandchildren, Mattie, Mason and Morgan; his stepgrandchildren, Thomas VanOrber, Chris Peters and Megan Rosberg (Pete); his stepgreat-granddaughter Emily; his sisters, Joyce Ritz and Mary Nichols (Jerry); his sister-in-law Patti Schell; and his friends, Jim, Michelle Otis, Dale, Phyllis Chambers, Larry, Mary Vandewalker, Jack and Pam Provost. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to United Hospice Residence of Marlette Regional Hospital, SYAA Sandusky Rec., Sandusky Arts Counsel or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
