It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Adam Verburg of Sand Lake, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Verburg and Donna Verburg (Adams); his brothers, Tom Verburg and Dennis Verburg; and his nephew Tommy Verburg.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, BJ Nagelhout (Carmon), Bill Nagelhout (Penny), Gwen Gould (Clint), Angela Verburg and Adam Verburg (Betty); his grandchildren, Dillon, Austin, Mackenzie, Ashley, Will, Nevaeh, Lorna, Conner, Kendal, Dani and Harmony; his great grandchildren, Barron and Zoe; his siblings, Sharon Knapp (Carl) and Bob Verburg; and his brother-in-law Jorge Ballivian. He is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to family to assist with medical expenses.
