He is survived by: his wife Mildred VanderMolen Boerema; and his children, Dale Boerema (Vicky), Melvin Boerema (Sally), Ralph Boerema (Shelly) of Grant, Betty Teusink (John), Vickie Frey (Orrin) and Rosie Alvarado (Celest). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
