Gary E. Butler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary E. Butler of Sand Lake, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Butler and Margaret Butler (Gould); and his grandson Tyler Butler. He is survived by: his wife Florence (Bassett); his children, Tim Butler (Tricia), Tedd Butler (Becky), Tadd Butler (Lee) and Tania Bell (David); his brothers, Gayle Butler (Anita), Greg Butler (Cyndy) and Garth Butler; and his siblings-in-law, Irvin Jay Bassett (Diane) and Joyce Lieffers. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Baptist Church (840 Wilson Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534).
