It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth G. Kennedy of Sand Lake, Michigan, born in Pierson, Michigan, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Arlene (Paepke) and Carl Benjamin McNees, Sr.; her son Joey Lee Bowen; her brother Mark S. McNees; and her husband Patrick Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Jacklyn, Kelly Bitler of Howard City, Jearold Bowen, Jamie Parker of Grant, Jeremy and Lisa Bowen of Pierson; her grandchildren, Heather (Mahlon Beechy), Winnie John, Felisha Bitler, Jennifer "Jenn" Bitler, Elly Bowen (Martin Gould), Emma Bowen (Trae), Courtney (Bryan Scott), Etta Bowen and Abby (Bud Buckwalter); and her siblings, David (Mary McNees), Arlene Scott, Ruthan (Robert Hawkins), Carol "Shorty" (Tom Lowery), Carl "Sonny" (Donna McNees), Carla Stout, Kim (Alice McNees), Paula (Rick Telder), Tom (Pam McNees), Bruce McNees, Cindy (Carl Blohm) and Diane MacKenzie. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
