She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Smith; and her parents, Aloysius Patin and Dorothy Patin of Sand Lake. She is survived by: her children, Larry Smith (Licha) of Sand Lake, Anne Marie Barton (Gary) of Byron Center, Gerard Smith (Lynn) of Grand Rapids, Dolores Huizinga (Mark) of Sand Lake, Christopher Smith (Elizabeth) of Cedar Springs, Regina Polkowski (Dennis) of Belmont, MaryAnne Laverack (Wade) of Sand Lake, Judithanne Nigli (Clifford) of Belmont, Annette Schautz (Todd) of Grand Rapids, Stephen Smith of Pierson and Margaret Smith of Sand Lake. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, five sisters, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
