He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Wayne and Jacqueline Versluis (Hanson); his siblings, Robin Versluis and Wayne Versluis; and his children, Jason "Bubba" Versluis and Victoria Vanderploeg.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Versluis; his brother Rocky Versluis; his son Dustin Stewart; his grandchildren, Brandonn Stewart, Amber Oostdyke, Ryan Vanderploeg, Serenity Stewart, Mckayla Versluis and Mckenzie Versluis; and his great grandchildren, Trenton Butler, Brayden Butler and Gavin Stewart.
