He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Rutledge and Barbara Rutledge (Elliott); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Kay Jacobs; his children, David Rutledge (Casey Holt) of Moorestown, MI and Aubrey Thompson (Kelly) of Adrian; his grandchildren, Dominique Suchman, Tyler Thompson and Emeri Rutledge; his mother-in-law Chris Jacobs of Tecumseh; his siblings, Roxanne Metzmaker (Rick) of Jasper, Roberta Rutledge of Adrian, Roseann Backos (Dennis) of Troy, MI and Rodney Rutledge (Deb) of Theodore, AL; his sister-in-law Karen (Herb); his niece Holly Jerore (Chandler); and his nephew Tyler (Jasmine).
