He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Fether and Dorothy Fether (Middleton); his son Brian Fether; and his brothers, Donn and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Joan L. Lantz; his daughter Nancy Jo Fether of Sand Creek; his sister-in-law Laura Fether; and his nephews, Troy and Darren Fether.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Rome Church Missionary Fund or to Hospice of Lenawee.
