He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon G. Ries and Zola E. Ries (O'Haver); his siblings, Ione E. Ennis and Arnold V. Ries; and his granddaughters, Lenzee and Lexzee Ries.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Yvonne Wootten (Bonnie); his children, Ronald A. Ries (Sherry) of Quincy, MI, Richard A. Ries (Kris) of Jasper, MI, Dennis W. Ries of Blissfield, MI and Connie L. Beatty (Dave) of Pahrump, NV; his grandchildren, Yvonne K. LaRoe of Hartsville, TN, Jenna Houthoofd of Grand Ledge and Branden R. Ries of Adrian; his great grandchildren, Taylor Ries, Trent Aneed, Marcus LaRoe and Dakota LaRoe; and his sisters, Bertha L. Marvin of Adrian and Darlene K. Emmons of Morenci.
Due to COVID-19 and social distancing regulations, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings are required.
