With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard W. Ellis of Saline, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on June 30, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Byron Edward and Nancy Ellis (DaLee); his brother-in-law Terry Copen; and his nephew Benjamin Ellis. He is survived by : his siblings, James, Charles (Susan), Katharine Ellis-Copen, Jean Henry and Barbara Ellis-Monro (Daniel); and his wife Nancy Millichap. He is also survived by his siblings and eight nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home & Cremation Services (301 E Michigan Ave, Saline, MI 48176). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Union Chapel Cemetery (8301 Union Chapel Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46240).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saline Area Social Service, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or Bat Conservation International.
