It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octavia M. Cappuccilli of Saline, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis J. DuRocher and Minnie Bell DuRocher (Clark); and her siblings, Leona Bonifacio, Donald DuRocher, Joseph DuRocher and Beata Wahl.
She is survived by: her children, David Cappuccilli (Irene) of Ft. Myers, FL, Craig Cappuccilli (Mary) of Monclova, OH, Heidi Webb (Rick) of Monroe, Stacey Langton (Ray) of Carleton and Darby Kolano (Chris) of Saline, MI; and her siblings, Virginia Navarre of Seattle, WA, Helen Patterson of DeWitt, MI, Velma Halverson of Elmhurst, IL, Kathryn Friedman (Richard) of San Francisco, CA, Susan Playwin (Roger) of Grosse Pointe, MI, Barbara Golubic (Bud) of Monroe and James DuRocher (Cindy) of Ida. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the C.D. Al Cappuccilli Memorial Scholarship Fund to assist with student tuition costs.
