He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael J. Wanat and Stella Wanat (Jendrzejewski); his wife Annette Gurauskas; his children, David Wanat and Michelle Wanat; his sister Janet Vanage; his siblings-in-law, Veronica Conde, Edward Gurauskas and Alexander Gurauskas; his aunt Celia; and his uncle Bud. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
