He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose R. Cuellar and Andrea Cuellar (Gomez); and his siblings, Rose Czmer, Jesse and Manuel Cuellar.
He is survived by: his wife Olga B. Vargas; his children, Jose Cuellar (Mary) of Center, Marisela Cuellar-VanHouten (Bill) of Adrian and Cristela Cuellar-Malosh (Scott) of San Diego; his siblings, Juan Cuellar, Maria Miller, Graciela Juarez and Oscar Cuellar; and his caregivers, Heather, Gretchen and Amanda of St. Joseph. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
