It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John T. Politz (Saline, Michigan), who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond D. Politz and Helen Claire Politz (Turner); his children, Kelly Susanne Osterling (Scott) of Zionsville, IN and Michael Alan Politz (Simone) of Big Rapids, MI.; his stepchildren, Kathryn Johanna Melcher and Scott David Melcher (Carrie); his wife Carol Dorr Melcher-Politz; his daughter Kate; his grandchildren, Taylor and Nolan; and his siblings, Steve (Kathy) and Linda.
