He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Donegan. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Donegan; his children, Stephen Donegan (Kathy), Sharon Scott (John) and Patricia Pohl (Gerald); his grandchildren, Tyler Pohl and Alaina Wells (Curtis); and his great grandchild Chandler Rose Wells. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
