He was predeceased by: his sibling Cantor Larry Charson; and his parents, Max Charson and Molly Charson. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Charson; his children, Rachel Tunk (Joseph) and Joshua Charson (Valentina Sliva-Charson); his grandchildren, Maxwell, Martin Tunk and Ari Charson; and his brother-in-law Howard Schwartz (Hylah).
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Temple Beth Emeth (2309 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104). A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Washtenong Memorial Park (3771 Whitmore Lake Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105).
