He is survived by: his brother Milton; his spouse Shirley Ann Hardy; his daughters, Tammy, Kimmy, Tamara VanDike, Shari Mackalski (Paul) and Kimberly Gaffney (Patrick); his grandchildren, Nicholas VanDike (Stacey), Alexandra DiPaolo (Anthony), Jacob VanDike, Katrina Cumbo (Evan), Sydnee Gaffney, Andrei Gaffney and Ian Gaffney; his great grandchildren, Kyler VanDike and Carmela DiPaolo; and his parents-in-law, Richard "Chum" Hardy (Nancy), Frank "Pat" Hardy (Margaret), James Hardy (Susan), Pamela Capaldi (Americo "Rick") and Deborah Dickie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
