Carol Marie Hawks Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard W. Holmes and Marie B. Holmes (Winstel); her husband Bob; her daughter Linda Holz (Ted); her granddaughter Melissa Nichol; her brother Howard; and her cousin Virginia Quigley.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Rick; her granddaughter Laura; her daughters, Barbara Giezentaner (Rick), Patricia Matheson (Scot), Sandra DeLeon (Arthur), Cynthia Nichol (Chuck) and Christina McBride (Paul); her grandsons, Robert Hawks (Marta) and Steven Hawks; her son-in-law Ted Holz; and her brothers, Paul Holmes (Carol) and Thomas Holmes (Jeannine). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (910 Austin Dr, Saline, MI 48176-1157). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory can be made to the American Heart Association, for which Carol volunteered for many years; or to Residential Hospice, 5440 Corporate Drive, Suite 400, Troy, Michigan 48098, whose nurses Kari, Rebecca, Sandy, and Stacey, and aides Latasha and Emily, provided such good care for Carol over the last 18 months.
