He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Brendtke and Vera Brendtke (Cook); and his siblings, Gertrude Bogoske of Belleville, MI, Edward Brendtke (Becky) of Belleville, MI, Alvera Linfield (John) of Monroe, MI, Grace Ann Publiski of Rose City, MI and Jery Brendtke of Rose City, MI.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brendtke; his children, Paula Hamill (Richard) of Milan, MI and David Brendtke (Pam Bradley) of Belleville, MI; his grandchildren, Collin Sutherby of Ypsilanti, MI, Cassidy Brendtke of Belleville, MI, Tyler Hamill (Katie) of Ypsilanti, MI and Kaylee Hamill of Saline, MI; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Hamill, Easton Hamill, Karson Hamill and Mason Hamill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
