It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Rosenberger Childs (Saint Louis, Michigan), born in Breckenridge, Michigan, who passed away on October 12, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George McLachlan and Agnes McLachlan (Bush); her former husbands, Larry Rosenberger and Frank Childs; her brother James McLachlan; her stepson Gary Childs; and her brother-in-law Harold Meads.
She is survived by: her spouse Laurence Rosenberger; her children, Dianne Young (Charles Holek) of Blanchard, Kathleen Spangler (Carl) of Cadillac, Linda Crowley (Daryl) of Ludington and Jill Rubritius (Jeff) of Lake Leelanau; her stepchildren, Kim Hicks, Alison Jinerson (John), Eric Childs (Rhonda), Lisa Cooper (Jim) and Sharon Childs; her siblings, George McLachlan (Gail) and Marilyn Meads; and her sister-in-law Carolyn McLachlan Curtin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Breckenridge United Methodist Church or Hearts Content A.F.C. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel, Breckenridge.
