He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Jay and Mildred Leonard (Barnhart); his son Daniel Reed Leonard; and his brother-in-law Robert Gianettino. He is survived by: his wife Carol Leonard of St. Louis, MI; his children, Lisa Leonard of St. Louis, MI and Brian (Mary Lou Leonard); his daughter-in-law Kim Leonard of Alma, MI; his grandchildren, Rachel, Sam Redman, Jennifer, Matt Johnson, Danylle, Gary Mavis, Brianna and Jack Leonard; his great grandchildren, Reid and Caroline Redman; his siblings, Carol (John Grossa) and Donald (Janet Leonard); and his sister-in-law Sondra Gianettino of Grand Ledge, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (120 Michigan Ave, St. Louis, MI 48880). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
