He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee and Dorothy Jean Alward (Peck); his siblings, Helen Alward and Art Alward; his brother-in-law Charlie Smith; and his nephew Ron Dean Alward.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ron, Julia Alward, Bev Smith, Barb Frederick and Tom Alward; and his sister-in-law Tina Vonderheide. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
