He was predeceased by: his father Leon Foote; and his brothers, Gary, Randy and Dale. He is survived by: his mother Deloris Foote (Miller); his children, Kristen Nelson of Alma and Calvin Owen of Reed City; his siblings, Robin Perryman (Andy) and Terry Foote (Linda); and his sister-in-law Barb Falls. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
