He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Riekels (Berghuis) and Bert Riekels; his wife Claudette P. Marden; and his siblings, Abe Riekels, Jean Witteveen, Connie Beekman and Marcia Vander Weg.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Knezic (Timothy) of Wausau, WI and John Riekels of San Francisco, CA; and his grandchildren, Noah, Connor, Nicholas and Tessa Knezic. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Christian Reformed Church.
