He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Stagg and Lois Stagg (Dennison); his stepmother Geraldine Stagg; his brothers, James Harold and Charles Stagg; and his godson Jimmy Stagg.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Stagg; his children, William D. Stagg (Crystal) and Nancy P. Ranck (Christopher); his grandchildren, Alexander Douglas Meltzer-Stagg and Abigail P. Ranck; his sister Suzanne Stagg; his nephew Steve Stagg (Amy); and his great-nephews, Luke and Jake Stagg. He is also survived by other nephews and nieces.

“Bobbi and Family, I was so saddened to learn of Bill’s passing. The last time I saw Bill was in 2001 when he so kindly flew to Texas to be with Rita for Richard’s funeral. That meant the world to my Mom and I and reminded us of what a great friend he was to my Dad. I know that Bill was one of Richard’s favorite people on the planet! At my wedding reception Bill sabotaged Wayne’s car so we couldn’t leave. Luckily, we drove mine. He was a rascal! He and Richard are having a great reunion. Barb R”
