It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willa Gholston in Saint Joseph, Michigan, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Verna Love (Charles), Regina Mitchell (Landon), Jerome Gholston and Kristen (Roy); her grandchildren, Charles L. Love, Brian Edward Love (Kristen), Sara E. Love, Andre P. Ball, April C. Ball, Alycia A. Mitchell, Alandrea M. Mitchell and Imani Hudson; and her siblings, Mae Agnes Gay, Roberta Hudson (Harris) and Nathaniel Carmon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
