He is survived by: his children, Nancy Van Horn (Chuck) of St. Joseph, Allen Hemerling (Sandy) of Stevensville and Richard Hemerling (Peggy) of Hastings, MI; his granddaughters, Amy Biggins (Bob) of St. Joseph, Laura Jackson (Matt) of Allendale, MI, Lindsay Nichols (Jed) of Hastings and Erin Quada (Kyle) of Hastings; his stepgranddaughter Melissa Van Patten (Jason) of Wayland, MI; his great grandchildren, Riley, Alexandra, Emily Biggins of St. Joseph, Abigail, Lucas Jackson of Allendale, Zane and Atlas Quada of Hastings; and his siblings, Edward Hemerling of Tamarac, FL and Shirley Foster of St. Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
