He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Johnston and Helen Johnston (Murray); and his wife Mitzi Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Mercer (Greg) of Plymouth, IN and Thomas Johnston of Benton Harbor; his grandchildren, Mack Mercer and Thomas Johnston II; and his great grandchild Wyatt Johnston.
