He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Mix and Sarah Mix (Carter); and his siblings, Judith Smith and Jack Mix. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mix; his children, Julie Mix (Gina Vanasco), Cindi Connell (Jeremy) and Toni Etter (Leif); his grandchildren, Caitlin Connell, Joey Connell, Easton Etter and Ava Etter; his sisters, Nancy Pinkerton (Warren) and Vicki Tedrick (late Thomas); and his godson Jon Smith. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
