Susan Rae Batsky Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Rae Batsky of Saint Joseph, Michigan, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Haack and Virginia Haack (Hoffman); and her stepmother Margaret Haack (Burner). She is survived by: her husband Tom; her son Michael; her granddaughter Lyanna; her siblings, Susie McPherson (Dean) of Omaha Nebraska, Paul Burner (Deb) of Lincoln and Jeanie Manzanares of Lafayette; and her favorite kitty Lily. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (619 Main St, St Joseph, MI 49085).
