He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Finkler and Lois Finkler (Roth); his sons, James Finkler and Brian Finkler; and his son-in-law David Dikel.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Finkler; his children, Elizabeth Hanasaki (Daniel), Christina Conroy (Joseph), Carolyn Finkler, Margaret Dikel, Michael Finkler (Dantra), Alexa Barr (Michael) and Edward Finkler; and his sister Anne Padget. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
