It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Irene Berg (Saint Joseph, Michigan), who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George McComb and Elsie McComb (Bruder); her husband Alfred E. Berg; her close friend Charles Kroening; her grandson Evan Layman; and her sons-in-law, James Hildebrandt, Donald Layman, Jr. and Thomas Cooper.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Rauhoff (David), Debra Taylor (Scott), Cindy Hildebrandt, Sandra Hutchinson (Donald), Sue Layman and Tamara Cooper; her grandchildren, Jason Rauhoff (Tui), Tonya McDaniel (Patrick), Ceanne Wienner (Adam), Seth Taylor, Kera Hildebrandt, Angela Layman and Tori Cooper; her great grandchildren, Lucas Rauhoff, Jensen Sassone, Hailey Sassone, Audrey McDaniel, Gavin McDaniel, Jacob Wienner, Nathan Wienner and Elliot Wienner; and her brother Alfred Thornton (Candy).

For a more lasting memory, donations in Shirley's name can be made out to Caring Circle of Lakeland or Lory's Place.
