She was predeceased by : her parents, Serafin Mercado-Acevedo and Maximina Garcia; her siblings, Epifano Garcia, Mozarate "Pete" Garcia and Efrian Garcia; and her son Auerlio Perez.

She is survived by : her husband Ramon Robles; and her children, Joanne Duron (Miguel), Jose Lewis Perez, Ana Perez, Zorida Perez, Carlos Perez, Filomeno Perez (Leslie Ann), Carmen Nunez (Frank) and Heriberto Mercado (Liz Scully). She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
