He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Yampolsky and Dorothy Yampolsky (Goldsmith); his children, Kathleen Hellstrom (Randall) of Grand Blanc, MI and Matthew Yampolsky (Amber) of Winter Garden, FL; and his brother Edward Yampolsky (Miriam).
He is survived by: his wife Diane Rapaport; his grandchildren, Nathan Hellstrom (Praise), Joshua Hellstrom (Noël), David Hellstrom (Kasandra), Moriah Leka (Isaac) and Kenzie Yampolsky; his great grandchildren, Ava and Anina Hellstrom; his brother-in-law Barry Rapaport (Ivonne) of Northbrook, IL; his nieces, Ashley Grimes (Kyle), Kathryn Hawkinson (Nick) and Lauren Rapaport; and his great-nephews, Dylan and Marshall Hawkinson.
