He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Gerbel and Sophie Gerbel; his wife Carol; his children, Nancy Kodis (Jim), Karen Homan and Steve Gerbel (Claudine); his grandchildren, Matt Kodis (Emily), Drew Homan, Sam Kodis (Sarah), Kate Fyffe (Brad), Carolyn Kodis, Alex Gerbel and Sydney Gerbel; and his great grandchild Charlie Kodis.
