With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Matthias (Saint Joseph, Michigan), born in Lackawanna, New York, who passed away on March 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Matthias to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Grafton Matthias and Florence Matthias. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Schoonmaker; and his children, Tehra Qualls, Mark Matthias and Bethany Teifke (John). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
