He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Betker and Natalie Betker (Dreger). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wegner; his sons, Roland Betker (Linnea) of St. Joseph and James Betker (Nancy) of Marion, OH; his grandchildren, Roxy, Keith (Kiersten), Kurtis (Allyssa) and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Parker, Wren and Layne; and his siblings, Waldemar Betker (Gertrude), Edeltraud Rodemann of Germany and Inge Anfang (Karl-Heinz) of Germany. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
