He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lietz and Alvinia Lietz (Mass); his wife Marie (Trapp); and his siblings, Dick, Arthur, Louis, Herbert, Albert Lietz, Hulda Lietz-Scharnowske, Lydia Lietz-Freehrman-Whitman, Lila Lietz-Hess and Dorothy Lietz-Jackson.
He is survived by: his sons, Duane Lietz (Marlene) of Eau Claire and Dennis Lietz (Janet) of Saint Joseph, MI; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Sernau (Terri) and Kelly Scholtes (Bryan); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brett Sernau and Addison Scholtes.
