She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver, Sr. Slater and Mildred Slater (Sanders); her husband Wilford Mangold; her sons-in-law, Jim "Jessie" Guess and Michael "Booboo" Barker; and her brother Oliver Slater, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Skip Mangold (Liz), Steve Mangold (Mel), Vera Guess, Angela Strauss, Patrick Mangold (Christi), Tina Barker and Tammy Strauss. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Caring Circle Hospice.
