She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sundblad and Myrle Sundblad (Pryor); her husband Robert Hinz; her brother David Sundblad; and her brother-in-law Donald "Doc" Hirn.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Frazee (Mark) of St. Joseph, Cheryl Hinz of Watervliet, Robin Hinz of Watervliet and Michael Hinz of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Dr. Joseph "Joey" Frazee (Kasia) of Indianapolis, Kelly Frazee of Grand Rapids and Levi Hinz (Brandi) of Watervliet; her great grandchildren, Warren, Kenzie, Kayden and Cody; her siblings, Marie Hirn of Gladstone, MI and Larry Sundblad (Sharon) of Milford, MI; and her sister-in-law Mary Sundblad of Stevensville. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Memorial donations in Melissa's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Berrien County Cancer Service.
