She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gardner and Edith Gardner; her husband George G. Schmidt; her son John Schmidt; her siblings, Ethel Moss, Joyce Sornsen, George Gardner and William Gardner II; her granddaughter Nicole Schmidt; and her daughter-in-law Dianne Sprague.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Sprague, Jr. (Janet), David Sprague (Karol), George C. Schmidt and Jacqueline Schmidt; her daughter-in-law Paula Schmidt; and her brother James Gardner (Joyce). She is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces; nephews, and cousins.
