She is survived by: her daughter Hope Burgess (Leroy II); her grandchildren, Willie L. Watkins, III and Leroy Burgess, III; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Dawn Torok-Watkins and Delaynee Sophia Watkins; her sisters, Karen McDonald-Smith and Dorothy Dowell; her stepgrandchildren, Myia Burgess and Jevon Burgess; and her close friend Deborah Dean.
