He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Collins and Susie Collins (McCartney); and his brothers, Charles Collins Sr. and John Collins. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Collins; his sister Mary Garland; and his children, Susan Porter Collins (David), Rosemary Prillwitz (Paul), Amie Smith (Larry), Carin Wilber (John) and Mark Collins (Jane). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
For a more lasting memory, donations in Louis' name can be made out to either Redeemer Lutheran Church or North Berrien Senior Center.
