We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2024, at the age of 66, Laurie Anne O'Connell (Saint Joseph, Michigan), born in Benton Harbor, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Laurie Anne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She is survived by : her husband Steve O'Connell of St. Joseph; her sons, Ryan O'Connell (Heidi) of Phoenix, AZ, Sean O'Connell (Cait) of Tinley Park, IL and Kevin O'Connell (Megan) of Stevensville; her grandchildren, Amilya, Rory and Remi; and her sister Lynne Sanchez (Eli).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice or Berrien County Cancer Services.
