He is survived by: his children, Larry M. Matthews, Jr. (Zana), Rickea Matthews-Amey (Roderick), Raven Matthews, Alicia Matthews, Alexis Matthews and Jonathan Matthews; his grandchildren, Latecia Matthews, Iman Johnson-Matthews, Estaney Matthews, Larry Michael Matthews, III, Lawrence Matthews, Levi Matthews, Bacari, Uriel, Kendall Miller, Kayla Amey, Kiara Amey, Maddix Finch, Malachi Jones, Michelle Howard, Shawndel Thomas, Delanie Thomas, Mechele Moss, Jacobi Thurman, Delmike Thurman, Cardell Shelton, Lamont Kirkesy and Ronald; his great grandchildren, DeOsha Matthews, Dazlyn and Delani; and his sister Doris King.
